The monorail was at the other end of the hotel so no noise whatsoever! We got our 6 hours of sleep before my cell phone alarm rang plus the hotel wake-up call that I had requested was received and began our day. The view this time was of the front entrance to the hotel. It was much nicer and larger than our previous room, but we didn’t really get to enjoy it because we had a quick turnaround. It was a suite with a living room area and then the bed area. There were people in the office, which was visible since the door was open, who were just sitting there finally, one of them came out to help the one lady who was trying to check someone in and deal with a guy who didn’t speak English and was having key issues! We checked in, received our water and breakfast coupons, and proceeded to our room, #366 this time. We reached the hotel in less than 10 minutes and had to wait to check-in since there was a short line. Fortunately for us, I saw the shuttle coming and waved it down so once again, we didn’t have to wait for the shuttle. We sat on the tarmac over a half hour so we didn’t reach the pick-up spot until about 11:50. When we landed around 11 pm, I texted them and was told to text again once we reached the shuttle pick-up spot. I had received a text that morning before we left our hotel in Hawaii about the shuttle and had replied about our late arrival. The shuttle to the airport runs every half hour so we took the 8 o’clock shuttle and had plenty of time for our flight to Hawaii. We returned to the room, showered, changed, and then checked out. The next morning, we were first to breakfast, which starts at 6:30 am on Sundays. We chose the Malibu Grill for a nice, healthy snack and then stopped by Ralph’s for some supplies for later.
I wanted to go to one about 2 miles away, but we may have had to taxi back so we chose to walk the half mile or so up to Sepulvedra where there were several restaurants and a Ralph’s grocery store.

There was only one shuttle driver so it was iffy to take the shuttle to a restaurant. The bathroom had a tub/shower combination so I could soak a little to relax. I only heard it once or twice and not while we were sleeping. The bed and pillows were comfortable, but like so many others, this Hilton Garden Inn has done away with the adjustable beds? The room faced the back so we could see the monorail off to the left in the distance. The room was clean but small compared to the one we would receive on our return. We received our waters, room keys, and breakfast coupons for the next morning which we receive complimentary as HiltonHonors Diamond members.

It was a standard room so there was no upgrade the upgrade was getting to check in early as others had to wait for clean rooms. We arrived before official check-in time, but a room, #225, was ready and waiting. When we arrived there, the shuttle was there picking someone else up so we hopped on without having to retext the hotel and wait for a pick-up. I responded and was told where to go just outside baggage claim. As soon as we landed and I turned the phone on and out of airplane mode, there was a text from the hotel. We flew from Orlando and arrived just after noon. We stayed here twice: the night before our 5-night vacation to Hawaii and the night after.
